An unbeaten 88 from Hashim Amla helped South Africa to an easy 39-run win over Bangladesh in the second T20 of the triangular series in Harare.
South Africa posted a score of 209 for three as Amla made 88 off 53 balls, with three sixes and nine boundaries.
Bangladesh were never likely to match that, although they did manage a respectable 170 for eight in reply, with Mushfiqur Rahim unbeaten on 50.
Amla and fellow opener Richard Levi got South Africa off to a flying start with a stand of 70 before Levi - who made 37 off 21 balls - was caught and bowled by Ziaur Rahman in the seventh over.
Colin Ingram fell for 29, Mushfiqur smartly whipping off the bails when Mahmudullah's delivery deceived the batsman, who lost sight of the ball.
Bangladesh also took the wicket of Albie Morkel late on, caught behind off Mashrafe Mortaza for 22 in the penultimate over, but JP Duminy came in to smash an unbeaten 23 off just seven deliveries - with three fours and a six upping the total.
The target always look beyond Bangladesh as Anamul Haque made just one off five deliveries and fellow opener Mohammad Ashraful - despite some more spirited batting - followed for 33 off 31.
Two quick wickets followed in the ninth over as Jahurul Islam went for 12 and Robin Peterson sent Nasir Hossain straight back four balls later for a duck, leaving Bangladesh on 49 for four.
Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah built a partnership worth 61 before the latter departed for 34, and there was another late flurry of wickets late on as Ziaur (18), Mortaza (eight) and Abul Hasan (one) took their exits.
A sloppy last over from Wayne Parnell saw Bangladesh pile on 21 runs with the help of three no balls, including one that cost Parnell the scalp of Mushfiqur, but even with such genorosity they were well short of their target.
South Africa join Zimbabwe with one victory each in the series after the hosts beat Bangladesh by 11 runs on Sunday.
